The Story Behind Crafted Golf

I’m Brendan, the founder, builder, and one-man workshop behind Crafted Golf.

My career started in software development and engineering — worlds where precision, process, and attention to detail are everything. But like many golfers, I found myself constantly tweaking my own clubs. Changing shafts, adjusting lies, building swingweight spreadsheets — not just chasing performance, but trying to understand why certain things worked.

What began as curiosity quickly became obsession. I invested in tools, read everything I could find on club building theory, attended Mitchell Golf Master Clubmaker Classes, and built a workspace to rival a tour van — all because I couldn’t stand handing my clubs to someone who didn’t care as much as I did.

So I started Crafted Golf.

My goal is simple: give golfers like you access to club work that’s intentional, data-driven, and hands-on. From grip installs to blueprinting an entire set, every club I touch is measured, inspected, and built to hit your exact standard.

I don’t do rushed jobs. I don’t guess. I work one-on-one, by appointment, with golfers who care — because that’s the only way I’d want someone to work on my clubs.
